Overview

This component highlights a short section of copy and gives it much more visual prominence than the rest of the body copy by giving it an icon and a much larger, bold font.

For this reason, it needs to be used very intentionally and sparingly. Its purpose is to break up large sections of body copy and make the page more digestible and engaging. It is exactly like a pull quote in a print magazine article.

IMPORTANT: This component always needs to be paired with body copy. It is not designed to be a stand-alone component.

Do use

• To visually break up large sections of copy

• Add pacing and visual interest to text-only pages that don’t contain imagery

Don’t use

• Immediately after a heading

• Outside of a large section of copy
