‘Need help?’
This component offers users a way to contact us if they require further help after visiting a particular web page.
Overview
The ‘Need help?’ component is particularly useful on web pages where some of our audience are likely to have questions that we aren’t able to answer on the page itself.
There are a number of valid reasons this might be the case:
-
It is not realistic or practical to be able to anticipate and answer every possible question our audience may have.
-
An individual’s question may be completely unique and require a bespoke answer tailored to them.
-
There may be unforeseen issues with the content, user journey or technical side of things that are preventing them from being able to carry out their intended task.
Image guidance
This component has an optional image – an illustration done in our brand style which represents Tearfund supporter services. If your page is particularly image-heavy you might want to turn this off.
Copy guidance
You can use the default, fundraising-focused copy (see below) or you can override the default content with your own bespoke copy.
IMPORTANT: The default copy for this component has been written specifically for the fundraising journey, so unless your page is a fundraising page, you’ll need to use your own bespoke copy.
