Device elements
The brand device consists of two consistent elements:
- Solid Shapes
- Keyline Shapes
These elements have been created for each country we work in, and the five continents. These elements are for use within the device only. There are also additional map assets available for use outside of the device for example infographics, diagrams etc.
Guidelines that apply to both elements…
- Device elements must be used only as supplied and follow application guidelines
- Both elements must always be used
- The device elements must be chosen according to which country is the focus of a case study or photograph. If it is ambiguous which country is being highlighted, then the continent shape should be used in this instance, or if a number of different countries are being featured throughout a document (for example a booklet) the various country shapes can be used where appropriate throughout.
Solid elements
They can be scaled but only smaller than the original supplied.

Don’t rotate the solid country shapes.
(The solid element must remain in the correct orientation in order to represent the country/continent)
Don’t distort or redraw the shapes.

Keyline elements
They can be scaled but only smaller than the original supplied.
(If the device elements are needed for larger formats such as banners, please contact the design team for guidance and templates for creating large scale versions.)
They can be rotated.
Asset downloads
The device elements have been created as separate assets for use in print format and in digital format. The digital elements are supplied in PNG format. The print elements are supplied in PSD format.
There are solid and keyline assets available for all countries and continents.
All print and digital device assets are provided in the various colour options. Please refer to the guidance page on ‘Device colours’ for guidance on where these colours should be used.
All print elements have been created at A3 size for use on all sizes A3 and smaller. You are encouraged to reduce the scale of the elements down from A3 but this artwork can not be stretched or oversized past A3 size. (If the device elements are needed for larger formats such as banners, please contact the design team for guidance and templates for creating large scale versions.)
